Celebrating the Four Seasons With Tea

Japan has four seasons, and it is very distinct. All seasons have their characteristics, and beauty. For example, in the summer time there are summer festivals with grand fireworks to feel cool. In the autumn people enjoy the scene of forests to get a glimpse of the leaf foliage.

At Camellia, we celebrate the four seasons through tea. Tea is harvested in spring, and the first flush comes out in late April to May. This first flush is cherished as it has a very delicate and vibrant taste. The first flush celebrates the coming of spring.

Further, in the world of tea, there are celebrations that celebrates times of the year such as New Years, coming of winter, and the fall moon viewing celebration.

Join Camellia in these profound moments, and celebrate the four seasons through tea. These celebrations will take place in the lessons.

Camellia Japanese
Half way around the globe, Japan is a beautiful, and exciting country. While I was growing up people would ask me about samurais and ninjas. It was kind of funny how Americans perceived Japan. I definitely was one of the kids that loved anime, and Japanese food. After all the years of growing up it seems as though Japan has made it`s remark within culture and language. Bring your interest, and knowledge about Japan, and we will have fun!
Camellia ESL
This is where I began. Teaching ESL is my true passion. Growing up bilingual in Japan gave me a great opportunity to teach ESL to Japanese. My sister and I started a language school while I was in Japan during my undergraduate years, and enjoyed teaching adults and children. Learning ESL in America is the real deal! How fortunate are you to be able to learn and use the language at the same time! I hope the best of your language learning, and outcome.
